MISSION
Oneida Kids seeks to partner with parents to help children love and serve our
Lord Jesus! We support parents as they undertake their most important task:
forming them to worship and imitate Jesus. Our classes teach, reinforce and build upon the spiritual foundations laid at home.
CHILD PROTECTION
Your child’s safety is very important to us. All our children’s volunteers have been vetted and have current background checks. If you have any other questions about our protection policy, please see the children’s director.
PROGRAMS
Sunday School (9:15 AM) - during the school year
Infant through age 3 – Nursery available on request
Age 4 through 4th grade – Our children’s class is designed for in-depth lessons teaching biblical truths. Teachers use engaging activities to teach lessons, have lively conversations, use songs and motions to teach scripture in a way that’s easy to remember.
5th-12th grade – In a world where our youth are bombarded with secular worldviews, we pause to teach and equip young people in their knowledge and love of Jesus. The youth gather with the youth teacher and volunteers in an interactive setting.
Children's Church (10:30 AM)
Worshipping God is a vital part of a Christian’s life. It is never too early to train our children to worship joyfully. At Oneida, children participate in the service as much as they are able.
Infant through age 5 – Nursery
Kindergarten through 3rd Grade – Just before the sermon children are dismissed to their classrooms where they can be picked up after the service. Children’s Church uses a curriculum that takes children through the Bible and teaches The Biggest Story: Jesus’ plan to fix all that sin has ruined. (View book here.) Talented teachers utilize songs, lessons, crafts, and practical, interactive questions to apply the gospel to children’s hearts.
4th grade and older – students are encouraged to remain in the sanctuary to engage the sermon with their family.
