Our ministry team is our whole church, but here are a few of the people equipping us to serve.
AL BLANKENSHIP
Elder
I am retired from the Michigan Dyslexia Institute (MDI) and the Michigan State Police.
My wife Linda and I have been married for over 50 years and have been attending OGC since May, 2001. I was brought up in a Christian family environment and have been involved in church most of my life. Since attending at Oneida, I continue to experience more growth in my Christian belief than at any other time in my life. During our time at Oneida, I served on the Missions Board for a total of 13 years which helped me expand my knowledge about missions abroad and locally and witness the impact on people’s lives. Serving on the Board of Elders has increased my knowledge of church leadership and created an increased awareness of how important the Elder leadership is within the Oneida family. I have immense respect for the leadership at Oneida, and I am humbled and honored to serve in this way.

I have continued to watch the Lord grow me and draw me closer in relationship with Him. As I continue to stumble He picks me up and shows me how much He loves me and wants me to depend on Him. I have two children, both married, and four grandchildren, and a wonderful wife who are a great encouragement as I strive to walk in the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ. Their love and prayers are a terrific support to me in my walk.
I feel that the Lord wants me to continue to serve Him as an elder at Oneida. I feel privileged that He would want me to serve His people in this walk.
ANDREW FULTON
Lead Pastor

Andrew studied Bible and theology at Moody Bible Institute before teaching junior high and high school Bible classes. After completing his Master's degree in Biblical Exegesis at Wheaton College, he served as an Associate Pastor at New Covenant Church of Naperville, Illinois for 12 years.
​
Andrew enjoys golf, soccer, basketball, snowboarding, and computers. He and his wife, Rachel, have five children ages 13 to 4.

BRIAN MILNER
Elder
I am retired from the United States Navy and am currently employed by the US Postal Service as an Electronic Technician. I came to salvation when about 14 or 15. While in the Navy I attended various Baptist churches and served as Deacon in the Southern Baptist church and here at Oneida. God then led me to serve as an elder.
I have a wife, Debbie, and three children: Amy, Kaylee, and Sam.

BRUCE SCHULERT
Elder
I worked for the Lansing School District for 34 years; as a teacher and administrator. I began attending Oneida as a small child and have enjoyed the longevity of relationships here.
I have continued to watch the Lord grow me and draw me closer in relationship with Him. As I continue to stumble He picks me up and shows me how much He loves me and wants me to depend on Him.
I have four children, four grandchildren, and a wonderful wife who are all a great encouragement as I strive to walk in the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ. Their love and prayers are a terrific support to me in my walk.

AARON LONSWAY
Elder Intern
My wife (Jennifer) and I were married in 2007 and have been married for 17 years. We have five children: Elias, Evelyn, Edith, Elsie, and Zeke.
I am employed by Ciena Healthcare - Regency at Lansing West, as Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) Registered Nurse. I also hold a FAA Certified A&P Aircraft Maintenance License.
Our family has been attending Oneida Gospel Church since Palm Sunday (April 2) in 2023. Over the years, the Lord has called me to invest both professionally and personally in the spiritual health of His people. Most notably, instructing and directing people to draw closer to Him through personal trials and seasons of lament. I wish to continue Shepherding His flock using the skills and gifts He has given me, as well as lead through corporate and personal worship.
RACHEL FULTON
Children's Ministry Director
Hi! I can’t wait to meet you and your children!
I am a fellow Michigander, recently returned to this pure state after many years away. I am a mom of 5 great kids, have my degree in education and am a former teacher. I enjoy playing games, going on walks and hikes, losing myself in a book and being with family and friends!
I am enjoying my role as the new Children’s Director at Oneida Gospel Church. We have had an exciting year planning, preparing, and teaching the children that God has brought to us! I love teaching God’s Word to young hearts. I pray that as they sing, play, craft and listen they would grow in their knowledge and love of our heavenly Father.
