Oneida is committed to reaching the world for Jesus. To that end, we support and are involved in the ministries of the following missionaries.
Jacob and Charis Doerr with Ethnos360 in Papua New Guinea
Few countries can match the cultural diversity of Papua New Guinea, whose 7 million people speak more than 800 languages, and live mostly in rural, indigenous communities.
Steve and Mikki Schmidt with SIM West Africa
Steve is the Director of SIM West Africa and gives oversight to all the SIM personnel in 11 West African Countries.
Mikki brings leadership to Pathways to School Improvement so that the growing number of Christian schools in Africa are biblically grounded and Christ-Focused.
The Schmidts are "homegrown" missionaries as Oneida is the church Mikki grew up in and where she gave her life to Christ.
They have three grown children, all married, and have five grandchildren.
