Shady Green Pastures is located at 5841 W. Gresham Hwy., Charlotte 48813
(3-1/2 miles west of M-50 on Gresham Hwy.)
It is a beautiful setting in God’s creation provided for only a donation. There is a bath house with showers, and small bunkhouses that sleep four can be reserved for your use. You can also bring your RV, camper, or tent.
Arrive on Friday night whenever you can get there. Around suppertime, anyone who wants to bring their meal and eat together gathers informally to do that. Later that night we sit around a campfire and talk, sing, laugh, and get to know one another.
Saturdays are at your leisure -- get up when you want, eat when you want, do what you want. Saturday night we have a cook-out where you can throw something on a group grill and bring a dish to pass. An optional trip to Mooville for ice cream, petting zoo, and playground is available.
On Sunday we have our worship service at the park at 11 AM. After that we gather together for a sub luncheon, and the rest of the day’s activities are up to you.
